Overview

The next step in getting your store off the ground is to create your first product. After all, selling is the name of the game!

Creating a product

1. To create a product, login to your Sugarcoat account and head to https://app.sugar-coat.io/products
   
   
2. From your product list page, click on Create Product, which you'll then be taken into the product creation page
   
   
3.  The Information tab will be expanded already which contains the fields for the basic product information. At the very minimum, we'd recommend that you set everything in this section which is;
   
   

   Is visible on site?	Whether you want the product to be displayed to your customers on your store
   Image	The image used as the initial thumbnail image for the product
   Name	The name of the product
   Price	The price of the product
   Apply tax?	Whether tax should be applied on top of the price of the product at checkout
   Description	Some description text about the product

4. Click on Save to confirm your product
   
   
5. If you made your product visible on your store, you'll be able to view this by click on Actions > Product Link
